Los clientes podrán seguir utilizando sus instalaciones existentes. Siempre que el software siga siendo compatible con el sistema operativo Windows en su PC o portátil. Los usuarios podrán iniciar sesión y operar el software; sin embargo, no se lanzarán actualizaciones ni correcciones más allá de la fecha de finalización del soporte.

When a dealer contacts FMA support, a support engineer will remotely access the dealer’s PC, install and configure TIDD, and verify communication with the dispenser. Existing dispensing operations can then continue on TIDD without requiring an on-site visit in most cases. Additional guidance and support will be provided to ensure a smooth transition for the dealer. 

Migration to TI Dispense Desktop (TIDD) will be performed remotely by the FMA Technical Support team.  The migration process at the POS is only a couple of minutes for installing, converting local dispense history & custom formula and downloading the latest formula database from cloud. In case of a system without Internet (TI Basic) the service engineer will apply the latest formula updates locally as part of the installation.  

Dispense history and custom formulas are not lost – they can be imported from ColorPro into TI Dispense Desktop either during the installation or by running the migration wizard. App specific user settings will not be saved – they should be set in TI Dispense Desktop. 

TI Dispense Desktop is installed next to ColorPro in a different folder; i.e. ColorPro files are untouched. You can leave ColorPro on the PC. If you want to run it, you must put it in Simulation mode, because the COM port to the dispenser will be occupied by the new TI Driver. If you are comfortable with the TI installation you can safely remove the ColorPro installation at a later moment. 

The migration will be handled by the FMA Technical Support team. A support engineer will work directly with the dealer to remotely access the PC, install and configure TI Dispense Desktop (TIDD), and verify that the dispenser is operating correctly. In most cases, no on-site visit is required. 

To help ensure a smooth migration, dealers should make sure the PC is available, powered on, connected to the internet, and accessible for the scheduled remote support session. The FMA team will guide the dealer through any additional steps if required.

TI Dispense Desktop (TIDD) includes built‑in training and help materials that are available directly within the application, allowing operators to learn and reference key workflows whenever needed. In addition, TIDD has been designed with a simple and intuitive user interface, making it easy for operators familiar with dispensing workflows to become productive quickly. 

TIDD does not require additional hardware if you were already working with ColorPro. However, we recommend Windows 11 and minimum 16 GB RAM for the best user experience. Please contact our FM Tech Support to understand the license requirements. TIDD does not need to be internet connected to work with a dispenser in daily operations, although we require internet access at the time of installation. 

For issues from field communicated to the OEM contact/help-desk, FM Tech Support is the first point of contact for all topics related to dispenser including software support.  

TI Dispense Desktop is already installed in the field and available with our team for installations. Until 31st Dec  2026 ColorPro will be available for sales. But please note that we will not be able to support new requirements into ColorPro, but can be considered in TI Dispense Desktop. 

The existing licenses of ColorPro can continue operation, except that there will no longer be any support provided.

TI Dispense Desktop can be provided with additional languages based on receipt of Purchase Order from the customer.
